Overview
At House of Mix, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request the deletion of your account and associated personal information from our platform.
If you signed in using Facebook or Google, this process will delete your House of Mix account data. You may need to separately manage your authentication provider account (Facebook/Google) according to their respective data policies.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Your user profile information (name, email, profile picture)
- Account credentials and authentication data
- User preferences and settings
- Playlists and saved music collections
- Subscription history and payment records (except where required by law)
- Usage analytics and activity logs
- Any uploaded content or files
- Communication history with our support team
What Data We May Retain
In some cases, we may be required to retain certain information for legal, security, or operational purposes:
- Legal Compliance: Transaction records required by tax laws, accounting regulations, or other legal obligations
- Security: Fraud prevention records and security incident logs for up to 90 days
- Dispute Resolution: Information related to ongoing disputes, claims, or investigations
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot identify you personally
How to Request Data Deletion
Method 1: In-App Account Deletion (Recommended)
Delete your account directly from within the House of Mix application:
- Log in to your House of Mix account
- Navigate to Settings or Profile
- Click on Account Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account
- Confirm your decision by entering your password
- Click Permanently Delete My Account
Method 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:
- Send an email to privacy@houseofmix.club
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Username (if applicable)
- Authentication method used (Email/Password, Google, or Facebook)
- Brief reason for deletion (optional)
Deletion Timeline
Once you submit a deletion request:
- Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in
- Within 24 hours: We will send a confirmation email to verify your deletion request
- Within 30 days: Your personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems
- Within 90 days: Backup copies will be purged from our backup systems
Note: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you change your mind, you will need to create a new account.
Active Subscriptions
If you have an active paid subscription:
- Cancel First: Please cancel your subscription through PayPal or your payment provider before deleting your account
- Billing Cycle: You will retain access until the end of your current billing cycle
- No Refunds: Account deletion does not entitle you to a refund for any remaining subscription period
- Payment Records: We may retain transaction records for accounting and legal compliance purposes
Facebook and Google Login Users
If you signed in using Facebook or Google:
- Deleting your House of Mix account will remove your data from our platform only
- Your Facebook or Google account will remain active unless you separately delete it
- To revoke House of Mix's access to your Facebook/Google account:
- Facebook: Go to Settings > Apps and Websites > Remove House of Mix
- Google: Go to Google Account > Security > Third-party apps > Remove House of Mix
Before You Delete
Consider these alternatives before permanently deleting your account:
- Download Your Data: Request a copy of your data before deletion by emailing privacy@houseofmix.club
- Deactivate Instead: Temporarily deactivate your account while keeping your data (contact support for this option)
- Update Preferences: Adjust your privacy settings or notification preferences instead
- Contact Support: Reach out to our team to resolve any issues you may be experiencing
Verification Process
To protect your account security, we may need to verify your identity:
- We may send a verification email to the email address associated with your account
- You may need to log in one final time to confirm the deletion request
- For email requests, we may ask security questions or request additional verification

Your Rights
Under data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to:
- Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")

- Withdraw consent at any time
